The surrounding gardens and grounds are perfect for sitting out, relaxing by the pool or going for leisurely walks. The pool is surrounded by a furnished terrace and there is a BBQ area located in the grounds.
The pool is open May 15th to September 30th.

Surrounding the Castle are some good walks, or you may prefer the opportunity to engage in horse trekking with some of the nearby riding schools. Approximately 400m away, in nearby Strove, is a grocer's shop and a restaurant. Guests of Castel Pietraio can also enjoy wine tasting experiences in the estates cantina and buy wine produced from the properties vineyards.
