Molinuzzo must fulfil the English dream of a traditional Tuscan villa. Once a mill, it is traditional in style and has been in the owner's family for generations. It is approached down an avenue, and stands in the centre of an extensive square of land, surrounded by olive groves. The surroundings have been lovingly and imaginatively improved with great swathes of lavender and rosemary scenting the air. A very carefully tended swimming pool is surrounded by a paved terrace with tables and chairs offering the possibility of dining alfresco. Another terrace by the house offers further possibilities for barbecues. However, Molinuzzo is not over-manicured. The owners enjoy the contrast between the beautiful swimming pool, and the natural pond fed by a stream which supports wild life. The orchard is full of organic apple trees, pears and pomegranates. The olives are carefully cultivated and you look out beyond them on to the small village of San Donato on its hill (only a 15 minute walk away across the fields) and over rolling pastoral countryside. San Donato is an attractive village, with good food shops, a nice pizzeria, and a very good restaurant. The very large farmhouse has been divided into three. On the ground floor Casa di Joshua opens onto its own terrace, and the whole of the first floor, Casa di Lisa, has been made into a superb self-contained apartment with a large loggia for outdoor living.
Marzio's hall: A place where tasting the traditional Tuscan recipes revisited with fancy and refinement by Marzio, the owner. A small and cozy room, an intimate environment illuminated by small candles. A dining table prepared with rustic elegance. Simple recipes, excellent combinations: the “fossa” pecorino cheese with a sauce of pears and typical mustards, the farro soup with small squids, the original Tuscan “fettunta” with Molinuzzo’s olive-oil, the porcini mushrooms of the woods nearby cooked “in different ways”, the “Chianina” fillet with peppers, the whole-wheat noodles fool of vegetables, the farmer's rags with ragu, and much more. Each course is served with the wine produced with the grapes of the farm house or with other Tuscan wines personally selected by Marzio. Only Tuscan products, genuine and selected.

Accommodation
With the old beams and tiled floor, this is a very attractive place to stay and has the added advantage of a private terrace. Two bedrooms are divided by a kitchen/living room. Both bedrooms (one double, one twin) have an en-suite shower room. This apartment can either be rented complete or by the room for bed & breakfast.

Security Deposit
On arrival you will be asked for a security deposit of €150, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental.
Arrival Times
Arrivals expected between 16.00 - 19.00 hrs. If you are going to be late, you MUST advise us or the owner/keyholder in advance. Property to be vacated no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
