Villa Colombaiolo is traditional Chianti Villa, located in the Siena province only a short walk from the characteristic medieval village of Castellina in Chianti in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, here a glass of good wine will frame your holiday in Tuscany. The house is traditionally built in stone and brick with the interior having comfortable furnishings and views from the terrace that stretch up to the town and out over the surrounding countryside. Its proximity to Castellina, Radda, Greve, Gaiole and Siena makes it an excellent base for following the Chianti wine tail and for sight seeing. The house enjoys the rare advantage of having a large garden with grassed areas and olive, fig and walnut trees, yet is within walking distance of the local town.
The local town of Castellina in Chianti has everything you might need: Internet point, Supermarkets, Pubs, Restaurants, Pizzeria, Shops, Wine bar, Post Office, Bank/cash machine, Doctor, Pharmacy and Police station.
Castellina is about 35km south of Florence and 22km northwest of Siena. An important fortress of Florence in ancient times, today Castellina is the center of wine and olive production in Chianti. The medieval town square has changed very little since the 15th century, even with the introduction of shops and restaurants, it retains an unhurried pace. There's even a wine festival here in the last week of September.

First floor: Double bedroom. Bathroom with shower. Triple bedroom with twin beds and an extra fold down bed. Door to terrace.
Second floor: Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. Small terrace accessed from a door in the bedroom.

On arrival you will be asked for a security deposit of €300 payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental.
Arrival Times
Arrivals expected between 15.00 - 19.00 hrs. If you are going to be late, you MUST advise us or the owner/keyholder in advance. Property to be vacated no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
