Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi is located on the river Tronto in the small village of Castel di Lama di Ascoli Piceno. The hotel is within eight kilometres of the medieval town of Ascoli Piceno and 10 kilometres from the Adriatic coast.
Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi comprises a red brick, 16th Century palazzo and chapel and a 19th century cottage set in historic gardens. The outdoor pool overlooks the surrounding hills and is flanked by towering palms. The massage treatment room uses oils derived from palm trees and there is a sauna. Other hotel amenities include formal sitting areas, complimentary parking and wireless Internet access. The elegant restaurant La Quintana serves local dishes as well as modern interpretations of Italian cuisine. Located close to the chapel, the Palmeto coffee shop opens onto a terrace, decked out with sofas, overlooking the valley. It serves pre- dinner drinks and snacks. The hotel offers a complimentary Continental buffet breakfast. Business services include meeting rooms for small groups and a business centre. The hotel gardens are the first in Italy to have bioenergetic areas and guided tours are given. Contemporary art exhibitions take place in autumn in the converted stables, and applied art and cooking lessons are held by the owners.

Accommodation

Adriatico suite: with its double access and overlooking both the historic garden and the country residence garden, commands a wonderful view towards the sea. It comprises a large living room, kitchen and dining area on the ground floor. On the first floor, a double bedroom with divisible bed, a bedroom with a twin bed, a bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and a bathroom with a shower. The whole suite overlooks the historic garden, towards the Apennines.
