Traditional Tuscany's Country Estate pages allow you to view any of our Italian properties that have two or more self catering apartments on site as a whole. This way you can see under the 'accommodation' heading how many apartments are on a particular estate and how many people those apartments will sleep. The self catering apartments listed under the 'accommodation' heading all have clickable links to take you directly to an individual description of that accommodation along with its current availability.

These pages are especially useful for family groups who are perhaps looking for one or two apartments on a larger estate, for couples who are looking for smaller estates with only two or three properties maximum or for larger parties who are perhaps planning a reunion or wedding. 

If you are specifically looking for an villa or apartment in Tuscany, Umbria, Le Marche and Lazio and want to search by date availability or number of bedrooms etc, you can use the drop down menu in the Property Finder and select 'villas and apartments' for self catering apartments with a shared swimming pool or 'private villas' for a selection of independent villas with private pools.

Estate Overview

The Bossi estate has belonged to a distinguished Florentine family since 1592, and provides an interesting and welcome retreat at any time of year. Beyond the main villa, facing south with fine views, is a group of houses each interesting and characteristic of the region. You may, on request, be shown round the cellars of the fattoria where you can buy their excellent wine or olive oil if you choose. Complimentary bottles of wine are provided in each house on arrival. Bossi offers an ideal combination of town and country holiday. The estate is set in tranquil, beautiful rolling countryside perfect for walking, fishing or riding. A rather steep lane past the house leads up through woods to a succession of different panoramas and meadows, ideal for picnics! Florence is only half an hour's drive away, with the further advantage that good train and bus services run there from Sieci (4km) if you want to avoid the hassle of city parking. Nearby Pontassieve is lively and prosperous with good restaurants, shops and a flourishing Wednesday market for clothes, household goods and food. The Autostrada del Sole is within easy reach, giving ready access to the rest of Tuscany and Umbria. Information on local events and facilities is provided at the cantina which is located at the main villa.

Security Deposit

On arrival you will be asked for a security deposit payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental.

Arrival Times

Arrivals expected between 16.00 - 18.00 hrs. If you are going to be late, you MUST advise us or the owner/keyholder in advance. Property to be vacated no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
