In a splendid panoramic position overlooking Mount Amiata, the nearby natural reserve of Monte Rufeno, Rocca di Radiocofani, Mount Cetona, and the castle of Torre Alfina, Il Tesoro is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday immersed in the most stunning countryside of the Alta Tuscia on the borders of Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany. The farmhouse of Il Tesoro offers friendly and comfortable holiday accommodation and are composed of three holiday apartments and a studio with a large fireplace. Each apartment is furnished with antique furniture and has a well-equipped modern bathroom, central heating, t.v., and kitchen. Organic vegetables and farm products are available to purchase and guests are invited to discover and participate in the agricultural activities that occur on the farm if they so desire.
The farmhouse is surrounded by a mature garden with swimming pool, traditional wood burning oven, stone barbecue, and gazebo. Mountain bikes and ping-pong are available on site whilst tennis and a sports center are in Acquapendente, just 5km away. Horse riding can be booked at Castel Giorgio, 4 km away and golf and thermal baths are at San Casciano dei Bagni (10% discount for guests of Il Tesoro). In the summer months water sports are available at Lake Bolsena (20 km) and in winter skiing on the slopes of Monte Amiata (40 km).
The closest principal town is Acquapendente (6 km), with shops, restaurants, cinema, tourist centre, banks, pharmacy and a great weekly market but the principal cultural and historical centres of Lazio, Tuscany, and Umbria lie within easy reach: Orvieto, Bolsena and Civita Bagnoregio (20-30 min); Perugia and Siena (1 hr); Rome and Florence (1 hr 30 min); Assisi (1 hr and 15 min); Chianciano Terme, Tarquinia and L’Argentario (50 min); the thermal baths of San Casciano (20 min). Moreover, in the immediate vicinity you will be able to find local artists and small pottery workshops, producing terracotta objects and artistic ceramics painted entirely by hand.

Security Deposit
On arrival you will be asked for a security deposit of €150, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental.
Arrival Times
Arrivals expected between 16.00 - 19.00 hrs. If you are going to be late, you MUST advise us or the owner/keyholder in advance. Property to be vacated no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
