This beautifully restored ancient hamlet with four apartments is set on a hill which offers one of the most superb views of the Farfa River Valley. Within walking distance of the sleepy medieval village of Casaprota the location was used in the past as the “aia” (threshing floor) of the village; the place where the peasants gathered to clean wheat and to bake bread in a still working brick oven. Surrounded by three hectares of olive groves, oaks and small orchard of cherry trees – ripe for the picking in June!
Here you can enjoy relaxing holidays amid enchanting scenery, in an exceptionally quiet countryside setting. Each of the houses is independent from the other, comfortable and decorated in an elegant way with a collection of country antiques in total respect of the more traditional Sabine style. For sightseeing, Colle Cesoni is in an ideal location for exploring widely. To the south, Rome, just 45 minutes drive. To the west, Viterbo, Vulci and Tuscania with interesting Etruscan tombs. Orvieto should not be missed with its underground necropolises and arguably the most beautiful gothic cathedral in Italy.
Accommodation
There are four apartments here, Pergola, Portico and mangiatoia can interconnect to provide a large independent house which will sleep up to 8 people. Forno is a little independent cottage that sits in its own garden but equally well sits close enough to the other property to make it convenient for a group of 10 people to rent the entire place. Additionally, sofa beds in Pergola and Forno can be utilised on request and will provide beds for a further 4 people.
Grounds
The houses have a private furnished gardens equipped with barbecue grill. The swimming pool, located just beyond the cherry orchard, is set in an elevated position, with views of the surrounding countryside and has a paved terracotta deck where the umbrellas, deck chairs and loungers are situated.

Security Deposit
On arrival you will be asked for a security deposit of €150, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental.
Arrival Times
Arrivals expected between 16.00 - 19.30 hrs. If you are going to be late, you MUST advise us or the owner/keyholder in advance. Property to be vacated no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
