Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and woods this is the ideal holiday for anyone wishing to tone the body and spirit in a relaxing environment, enwrapped in the rough charm of the Tuscan Maremma… With its inebriating scents, colours and flavours that change with the seasons, Civettaio offers the tranquility of the countryside combined with the possibility to enjoy the art, culture and beauty of some of the most important historical centers in Tuscany. The house is in a superb position for discovering Tuscany; It is close to Monte Amiata, with its woods of chestnuts, firs and beeches, to the archaeological area of Roselle with ruins of an Etruscan and Roman village, to Montalcino and its vintage ‘Brunello’ red wine and to the wonderful Tirrenian coast from Punta Ala to the Maremma Natural Park and the Monte Argentario. The owners have revived traditional farming methods, combining them with modern organic practices to bring this Maremma farm back to life. The apartments are comfortably furnished and all have satellite TV. A large common room with huge fireplace and satellite TV is also made available to all guests. Wine and olive oil tasting events are held in the owners excellent little restaurant - open for evening dinners three times a week by arrangement.
A large panoramic swimming pool is situated in the garden grounds below the house. Here, in this incomparable landscape of the Tuscan Maremma, dining beneath pine trees in the evening breeze, or languidly taking the sun at the swimming pool, a tour of the countryside, a good glass of wine is what it is all about…

Grounds
There is no shortage of space outdoors for children to run around in. An umbrella of pine trees provides shade for the tables and chairs that are set out for guests – this is a great place for alfresco dining and enjoying a glass of wine. A large panoramic swimming pool is situated in the garden grounds below the farmhouse.

Security Deposit
On arrival you will be asked for a security deposit of €200, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental.
Arrival Times
Arrivals expected between 16.00 - 20.00 hrs. If you are going to be late, you MUST advise us or the owner/keyholder in advance. Property to be vacated no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
