Set in the countryside between the Tiber River and the Sabine Hills, Villa Diana is a very spacious modern house with wonderful views of the river valley. The area is packed with touring options, including several beautiful abbeys, the city of Viterbo and the many medieval villages dotted among the hills. Situated in an enviable position on a hillside north-east of Rome. Overlooking vineyards, olive groves, fields and woods, the villa has been built to take advantage of the wonderful views over the Sabina countryside. The charm of this relatively unknown area, with its olive groves and vineyards and its proximity to the medieval and renaissance delights of Italy, makes it a wonderful place for a perfectly relaxing and cultural holiday. In this idyllic location you are within easy reach of the hill towns of Etruria, Umbria and southern Tuscany: Orvieto and Assisi are each only 70km away, while Rome and Viterbo (with all the Etruscan sites) are within 50km. Also within easy reach for day trips are Perugia, Arezzo and Siena. The train station, with a frequent service to Rome, is in Stimigliano only 8km away and the small town of Poggio Mirteto, with shops, restaurants and good weekly markets is 6km. There are many excellent traditional, and untouristy, restaurants located in this area and a supermarket is within 3.5km.

With a wide furnished terrace that takes advantage of the wonderful views, the house develops over three levels with a lower ground floor, ground floor and first floor. Ground floor: Large comfortably furnished living/dining room with open fireplace, radio/CD player and television. Large fully-equipped kitchen (oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine). Two twin bedrooms. Bathroom with shower. Grounds
Super semi woodland setting, mature gardens with succulants and cacti. Excellent views. Huge umbrella pines and old olive trees dot the garden, where two vine-covered pergolas provide shady spots for lounging and dining alfresco.
