Situated on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, six kilometers from Cortona and at the center of the "Golden triangle of culture" bordered by Arezzo and Siena and in the heart of woodland estate, fields and pastures, a sixteenth century convent has refound its vocation for hospitality.

The Relais Parco Fiorito is a charming holiday farm that combines cordial hospitality, authentic traditions and modern comforts. Outdoor lovers can take their pick of either trekking, mountain biking or horseback riding on the shores of Lake Trasimeno and Trasimeno Park trails.

Cortona is a beautiful city center teeming with alleyways and Medieval houses. The ancient Etruscan city still preserves its Cyclopean walls. Here you will find the Etruscan Academy and city of Cortona Museum that houses some of Italy's most important findings of Etruscan civilization, and the Diocesano Museum which houses Tuscan artwork from the thirteenth to nineteenth centuries including the magnificent Annunciazione del Beato Angelico. The museum tour continues through the city streets and on the outskirts (Archeological Site), where ancient Etruscan underground tombs were found including "il Sodo" and significant remains of the Roman Empire. On the hill stands the Girifalco Fortress, the magnificent castle which now houses exhibits and events.

Le Celle, the enchanting town just a few kilometers from Cortona, where St. Francis of Assisi lived and founded a convent in 1211 which still welcomes brothers and all those who want to live the spiritual and religious experience of prayer in a place rich in history and spirituality.

Expertly restored by the Russo family, the sixteenth century structures of the ten rooms and apartments of the Relais Parco Fiorito were enhanced and enriched with modern comforts to provide guests with an enjoyable vacation in a holiday farm in Cortona, near Tuoro sul Trasimeno. Deluxe rooms and suites are available (with four beds and a kitchenette, ideal for families). All rooms are large and furnished in typical Umbrian-Tuscan style with all the best comforts available. All rooms and apartments have private bathroom with tub or shower, hair dryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, phone and mini-bar.
