Situated half way between Le Marche’s two regional capitals, Macerata and Ascoli Piceno, in the seemingly endless panorama of the Sibilline Mountains, Il Cerro is to be found on the edge of the Sibilline Mountains National Park. Here, in this the most beautiful and mysterious part of the Apennines, visitors may explore on foot, on the mountain bikes available for hire, or by car. Small huts, used formerly by hunters, have been equipped for picnics and barbecues. Aerial hides have been made for serious bird watching. Interesting and varied tours can be arranged in advance by the day or half day with a friendly, qualified Alpine Guide. The coast is little more than an hour away by car, or you can take in the views while driving over the mountain range, stopping for a swim at Lago Fiastrone. Alternatively, you can visit the towns of Sarnano, famous for its thermal waters, or the walled hilltop town of San Ginesio, which has some fine fourth century artwork.

Il Cerro is a handsome independent farmhouse with excellent garden grounds and great mountain views. The house is on three levels with a large living room that serves as a garden room/games room on the ground floor. This floor also has a utility room with washing machine. First floor; Living room with open fireplace, open plan to dining room. Well equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven and dishwasher. Double bedroom. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with shower. Second floor; Large square landing with sofa-bed. Double bedroom. Bathroom with shower. Large secluded garden with private swimming pool (9m x 5m).

Il Cerro’s has lawned garden grounds that surround the house. The swimming pool located to the front of the house. Trees around the property offer shady areas and plenty of garden furniture is provided.

Security Deposit
On arrival you will be asked for a security deposit of €200, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your rental.

Arrivals expected between 16.00 - 20.00 hrs. If you are going to be late, you MUST advise us or the owner/keyholder in advance. Property to be vacated no later than 10.00am on day of departure.
